Brewer Series Release – Hoppy Wheat Ale
June 20 @ 11:00 am - 10:00 pm← All Events
It’s a monthly tradition here at Karben4 when we tap a special, one of a kind, pilot batch. We let our brewers take their turn on the pilot system and create whatever there heart desires. We’ve release such beers as a Dunkel Bock, an Oat Ale, IPAs & a Peanut Butter Stout. We’re always excited to see what they’ve come up with.
This month, Korey has brewed a Hoppy Wheat Ale called:
Citradillo, 5.0% ABV
Description: Found exclusively in the Pacific Northwest, this extremely rare ‘dillo spends its summers climbing among the region’s hop bines. Its armor takes up a rich green color due to a diet composed exclusively of hop cones. Each fall, these cuddly critters are gently squeezed and all that hoppy goodness is collected.
Tasting Notes: Citra and Amarillo hops scream the Citradillo’s trademark call, “Juicy!” A 50% wheat malt base provides a study platform from which the Citradillo bellows.
